Cervical Cancer and DIM
You may have seen/heard the research reported yesterday regarding the increase in Cervical Cancer rates in the journal Cancer. Well it was a bit misleading but I did want to take this opportunity to make you aware of DIM – if you are not already. Many of my pts take DIM (di-indolyl-methane) which has been known to be effective in the reduction of cervical cancer cells. We sell a great DIM supplement but it can also be found in many cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, bok choy, kale and turnips. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to eat enough of these vegetables for them to be effective so taking the supplements is a much better option. And for the guys DIM is also good at preventing prostate disease.
